AskaQA collects only the information needed to manage member accounts, personalize QA guidance, send requested newsletters, and protect the website.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email, company, industry, role, and optional location or experience.
- QA interests you choose and newsletter subscription preferences.
- Authentication events, IP address, and browser information used for security and fraud prevention.
- Questions you ask the AskaQA assistant, so they can be shown in your question history.
How we use it
We use this information to operate membership, verify email addresses, reset passwords, personalize content, measure Ask usage, and send newsletters only when you consent.
Sharing
We do not sell member information. Identity providers such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or GitHub receive only the data needed to complete a sign-in you start. Questions sent to the Ask assistant are processed by our AI provider to generate an answer.
Your choices
You can update your profile, change newsletter preference, create or change a password, and request a different email address from your member account. Newsletter unsubscribe remains available from every newsletter message.
